The Father of Reinvention

Grant Morrison has done it again.

While others could only further perpetuate the "Always has a Contingency" Batman that Grant Morrison himself developed in the JLA series, The Master of Metatextual has brought a new Batman to the spotlight.

It's the all new, badass "Noir" Batman.

Oh, Morrison. You had me at "freebie."

Stay tuned, readers, because a special I promised during the livejournal year is coming up, and I break down why Morrison and Jones's Marvel Boy may just be the best comic ever made.

That panel was especially exciting for me because Roxy is a popular nickname of mine.

Sooo...if Batman hadn't been busy...he would have accepted that freebie? Damn. Eat it, Frank Miller. Grant Morrison has trumped you once again.

If Batman's not busy, he's gettin' busy. THAT's the Gotham way.

"Hos" is a keyword?

Anyway, I was more impressed by Batman's "tough love" in challenging the one girl by offering her a legal job.

Batman has always been one of the heroes with the most faith in the hope of rehabilitation.
